You know the old adage: you are what you eat. If you put good foods into your body, then your body will feel good and work well.
But sometimes, getting in all of those leafy, green vegetables can be hard.
That is where the green smoothie can help!
Using a high-powered blender, mix your liquid (coconut milk, almond milk, green tea or even water) with your greens (spinach and/or kale are two great options). Mixing up those two ingredients first is the key to not getting a chunky drink. A chunky drink is worse than having to actually eat those greens in the first place.
After the liquid and the greens are blended, add in the delicious, sweet fruit that will cover the taste of the green-ness. Blend, pour and enjoy the rush of vitamins and nutrients that you just drank in one power-filled cup!
