Niagara Autumn Wedding Show - Success!

We had the privilege of being a part of Niagara’s 6th Annual Autumn Wedding Show this past weekend. We weren’t sure exactly what we were getting ourselves into, as this was our first show together. After arriving bright and early on Sunday morning, we were pumped to discover that our booth was in a prime location. We were offering free hair and makeup trials all day, so the fact that our booth was on a corner gave us tons of room to spread out. Angelica from Simply Beautiful Decor was kind enough to lend us some of her amazing props and Pauline from My Bouquet prepared a beautiful arrangement for our booth. Teresa launched Frosting Cosmetics, her own line of makeup exclusive to Allure Hair and Makeup at the show as well.
The show started at noon and already at ten minutes to twelve, there was a line from the convention room all the way to the front desk! We were starting to get nervous. Brides started filtering in right as the show opened and we started trying our best to get these fine ladies to remove their makeup, let down their hair and give us a try! After about forty minutes, we finally managed to convince one lovely lady. That was all it took… the lineup became longer by the second of ladies eager to try out our services. We were overwhelmed by the response!
We were offering a booking bonus at the show to brides who booked our services for their wedding. They would be entered in to a draw for a chance to win their bridal package of hair and makeup FREE on their special day. Stay tuned for the winner to be chosen this weekend : )
All in all, it was a great (exhausting!) day. We loved connecting with up and coming brides and also other vendors at the show. We can’t wait to be a part of Niagara’s next wedding show this January.
